Following are a series of Yantra-Mandalas that represent some
or other incarnation or manifestation of the Divine Mother. They are in this sense
also to be regarded as Vidyas or different approaches to (tantric) knowledge.
The Mahavidyas are ten particular forms of the Divine Mother, in which she represented
herself in different yugas and on different occasions and her forms before she
again became Uma, the wife of Lord Shiva.
The 10 Mahavidyas are Kali, Tara, Tripur Sundari (Shodashi or
Shri), Bhuvaneshwari, Tripur Bhairavi, Chinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagli Mukhi (Valga),
Matangi and Kamla.
Below are the yantras of 3 Mahavidyas : Tripur Sundari, Bhuvaneshwari
and Kamla. Also present is the Yantra of Durga, another very powerfull incarnation
of the Divine Mother. And also the most famous of all yantras, Shri Yantra, with
Shri Vidya being equal to Tripur Sundari Vidya and also being called the root
vidya of all 10 Mahavidyas.
