Painting ID : PWCHCS01
This painting shows the body of a yogi as a
tambura, the preffered indian musical instrument
for meditation. The strings are the nadis
(like "nerves") strung along the spinal
cord. When strung at the height of the particular
chakras (in bija sound meditation), the resulting
sound vibrations help to unlock the pure elemental
energies inside, which are also shown in the
painting.
Full details on the symbolism of
this painting can be found inside the Chakras
Book.
