Painting ID : PWYMKM01
This painting shows the wish-fulfilling cow Kamadhenu that
provides Soma (nectar) to the third eye or pineal gland of the sixth
chakra. She has the face of a crow, the horns of a cow, the neck of a horse,
the tail of a peacock and the wings of a white swan. Kamadhenu becomes accessible
to the yogi when the I-consciousness has dissolved upon reaching the Soma
Chakra. The yogi's wishes are then universal needs and they are fulfilled
by concentration on Kamadhenu.
Full details on the symbolism of
this painting can be found inside the Chakras
Book.
