This painting shows the wish-fulfilling cow Kamadhenu that provides Soma (nectar) to the third eye or pineal gland of the sixth chakra. She has the face of a crow, the horns of a cow, the neck of a horse, the tail of a peacock and the wings of a white swan. Kamadhenu becomes accessible to the yogi when the I-consciousness has dissolved upon reaching the Soma Chakra. The yogi's wishes are then universal needs and they are fulfilled by concentration on Kamadhenu. Full details on the symbolism of
