Hard work on the self characterizes
the one who vibrates in the 6th Chakra. Tapah means penance,
mortification, burning and the practice of meditation on self-denial.
People on this airy plane are high ascetics and yogis, who
have gone on the path of no return, engaged in penances to
reach the 7th chakra levels. All elements are under control
and there is no more identification with male or female energies.
The austerities are needed in order to burn off the remaining
karmas and fully open the third eye. The sound Om becomes
the central mantra, encompassing all sounds in the internal
and external environment. When in the presence of a person
that vibrates on this plane, other people lose their identities
and inhibitions and try to merge their consciousness with
his.
