After seeing Ravana in vain trying to scare Sita in becoming his wife, Hanuman contacted Sita in the gardens of Ravana's palace, told her of the plans being made for her deliverance and gave her Rama's signet ring as a token. Pleased with his succes, Hanuman then fought the demon Meghnaath, son of Ravana, in the gardens of the palace of Lanka. He won over Meghnaath, but was finally captured by Ravana's demons. This painting is part of a series of 50 paintings on the Life of Hanuman that is currently being made by Sandeep Johari. Untill the series is finished, the paintings are not for sale.
